Norfolk Botanical Garden Annual Spring Plant Sale

NORFOLK, Va.

Norfolk Botanical Garden (NBG) will host its Annual Spring Plant Sale beginning Friday, May 4, 2018 through Sunday, May 6, 2018 from 10:00
a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily.

This year’s plant sale is inspired by The Garden’s current international exhibition LanternAsia. The theme, East meets West will feature some of the best plants of Asia and North American natives with a wide variety of rare and unusual plants at great prices.

The event is open to the public with the exception of an exclusive early bird special for NBG members from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. each morning.

The spring plant sale will include perennials, hydrangeas, Japanese maples, edibles and more. Also available will be flowers and plants that attract pollinators.

The Tidewater Butterfly Society is on-hand the entire weekend with helpful information on creating a pollinator friendly yard.

The Virginia Bonsai Society will offer free demonstrations from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 5, 2018.

The NBG horticulture staff are available to answer questions and provide expert advice to guests.

The entrance to the sale is Free with Garden admission.
