First Farmer’s Market Comes to Olde Towne Portsmouth!

The City of Portsmouth announces the first Olde Towne Portsmouth Farmer’s Market on first Saturdays beginning June 6th. Presented by PortsEvents, the Olde Towne Portsmouth Farmer’s Market will be located in the first block of Middle Street, between High and Queen Streets, adjacent to the Virginia Sports Hall of Fame Museum.

For 2009, the market will operate on first Saturdays through November 7th from 9:30 a.m.until 1:30 p.m. The Farmer’s Market will coincide with the First Saturday Olde Towne Business Association Flea Market that is held in the Middle Street Parking Garage each month.

Farmer’s Market items for sale will include fresh seasonal produce, flowers, plants, canned goods, baked goods, jams, breads, honey, and more!

PortsEvents is currently seeking vendors to participate in the Olde Towne Portsmouth Farmer’s Market. There is no vendor fee or vendor cost to participate.
