The mission of CHROME is to increase opportunities for underrepresented minority and female students to enter math, science, engineering, and related technical fields. CHROME serves as a planning, coordinating, and advocacy organization designed to complement and enhance the educational programs of school systems.

Hampton Roads Business OutReach (HRBOR) is a broad based coalition of LGBT owned and LGBT supportive businesses and professionals dedicated to the development, growth and advocacy of Hampton Roads and its LGBT community. By promoting an environment in which diversity can flourish, HRBOR is committed to the economic growth and prosperity of our members and our community.

Newport News CASA helps "powerless children" who are under the court's supervision.  CASAs ensure that the children are safe. CASAs ensure that each child is receiving all the court mandated services. CASAs ensure that each child has the continuity of one person they can count on during their time within the legal system. CASAs remain with their child until the ultimate goal of a safe, loving and permanent home is reached.

The mission of the USO of Hampton Roads is to enhance the quality of life and public support for armed service members and their families. With nine centers and over 750 volunteers, the USO of Hampton Roads offers quality of life programs, family outreach and information and referral services to over 200,000 military members and their families stationed in the Hampton Roads area.

Virginia Beach Green Drinks brings together all seven cities of Hampton Roads who share a passion for our incomparable location on the Atlantic Ocean and Chesapeake Bay. Green Drinks is an informal happy hour held once a month for people who care about the environment.
